Not Ships Exactly
We were dodgems that crashed in the night,
And while were seeing stars,
We also span stars.

Speculative, metaphysical, comedy and satirical poetry by Suki Spangles. Now officially the world's first post-rock poet.
What is the meaning of this poem?
ReplyDeleteA Girl With No Name ;)
Girl With No Name,
ReplyDeleteShip's - as in ships that pass in the night.
Dodgems - not so much ships, but where two souls crash/bang into one another.
Seeing stars - concussion;
span stars - romance/lurve.
That's it.
Thank you, Suki :)
ReplyDeleteI remember you amended this one.
Best wishes.
